Digital Studio LP
LabPrints® Digital Studio LP is Java based studio production software available as a free download from the McGreevy ProLab web site. It runs on both Mac and PC operating systems. By utilizing the McGreevy ProLab company access code, the software initiates a direct link to our lab. Our latest products (print sizes, package options, paper surfaces, etc.) are automatically downloaded and available to the photographer during the order creation process.

Working with LabPrints is highly efficient. Photographers can load hundreds, even thousands of images into the project area where they can be rotated, resequenced, grouped, and classified. Images can be quickly compared in full screen view, and unwanted pictures can be discarded. You can crop, convert to b&w or sepia, designate print size, and view aspect ratios.

A built-in resolution tool warns you if a file is not big enough for a choosen print size. When the order is complete it can be uploaded to McGreevy ProLab, or burned to CD and delivered for printing. You can also print out an invoice of the entire order for billing your customer.

Optional Up-grades
In addition to the standard (free) LabPrints software there are two optional up-grade modules that put the creativity and profits back into wedding albums. The Composite Designer and the Album Builder. These two very powerful production tools already exists in the LabPrints software in “demo” mode for you to try out. You can purchase them for $150 each or both for $275.

The Composite Designer is quintessential software for designing creative, one-of-a-kind flush wedding album pages. Perfect for use with our custom Art Leather albums. With over 300 built-in templates you can quickly and easliy create beautiful multi image composites, drop shadows, custom borders, tints, screens, vignettes, and the list goes on.

The Album Builder allows you to take the flush pages you created with the Composite Designer and assemble them into a final album layout. You can also design a wedding album from scratch using the window mats from most major album company manufacturers. Once all the design work is complete the final album can be viewed on-screen for approval by your customer. You can print a thumbnail mock-up, including file names, album style, and the actual mat sizes needed. Your print order with exact cropping, and formatting is ready to send to McGreevy ProLab.
