Contact sheets are a very efficient way to view a roll of film. This traditional printing method shows all the images neatly on one page and provides a good
record of exposure accuracy. The film is sleeved in archival pages and then
exposed in direct contact with the photo paper.
E6 film contacts are made by
first sleeving the film in an archival page, flatbed scanning the entire page and
then printing. Because of this, 35mm slide film can not be mounted after the contact sheet is made.
